What is a Neurologist?
A Neurologist is a medical sub-specialist (MD) who
has special training in diagnosing and treating
nervous system disorders, including diseases of the
brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles.
Neurologist performs specialized
physical examination which includes test of vision,
coordination, muscle strength, movement, balance,
coordination, sensation, Speech and memory evaluation.
They also perform Diagnostic test such as:

CAT scan

MRI/MRA (magnetic resonance imaging-angiography)

Lumbar puncture (spinal tap)
·
EEG (electroencephalography)
·
EMG/NCS (electromyography/nerve conduction studies
